Many tile installers will charge you based on the square footage you need installed. If the tile is to be installed on a slab with a basic design it will normally range from $3-$4 a foot. If it is to be installed on wood flooring a cement boar will need to be put down before the tile. In this case installers will charge another $1 to $1.50. If you are wanting a bricked pattern or other design it may cost you another $0.50 to $1 depending on the installer. If you are having shower tile installed expect to pay over $5 per square foot. It can range widely depending on installer. I recommend getting someone with lots of experience for the shower to prevent leakage in the future.
